DID GOVERNOR OTTI BUILD NEW LAW COURTS OR REHABILITATE ANY LAW COURTS BETWEEN JULY 2023 & MARCH 2024?

According to the Q3 2023, Q4 2023 and Q1 2024 Budget Implementation Reports published by Abia State Government, which are hosted on the state government website, Dr Alex C. Otti's government  spent a total of 5.2bn on Abia Judiciary in the 9 months of July 2023 to March 2024.

Out of the N5.2bn billion, the government spent N2.14bn on capital projects, N2.75bn on the welfare of Abia Judiciary, while N314m was claimed for overhead costs in the judiciary.

The big question on the lips of Abians remains what capital projects were completed in Abia's judicial sector by Governor Otti  with the sum of N2.14bn in those 9 months?
Apart from the 5 Innoson SUVs he donated to some judges, many Abians continue to question where the governor may have spent the N2.14bn.

As at today, there are no reports of any completed or ongoing construction or rehabilitation projects in Abia law courts or the judicial sector.
Just like many other costs claimed for projects in other sectors by Dr Otti's Government, which many Abians argue to be non-existent, analysts and concerned Abians are questioning the location of the said judiciary projects for which Governor Otti  may have spent the N2.14bn.
